This page explains how to delete your Voxstrum account, what is removed, what is kept, and for how long. It applies to the Voxstrum app (com.voxstrum.app), published by Voxstrum Ltd, United Kingdom.
Open Voxstrum and go to Profile → Delete account. You will be asked for your password to confirm it is really you. Deletion begins as soon as you confirm and cannot be undone.
If you cannot sign in, no longer have the app installed, or want everything erased, email privacy@voxstrum.app from the address on your account. We will confirm your identity, delete your data within 30 days, and email you when it is done.
You do not need the app, an active subscription, or an account in good standing to make this request.
We would rather tell you this plainly than imply otherwise. The in-app button does not currently remove:
If you want those erased too, email privacy@voxstrum.app and we will remove them within 30 days. We are actively working to make one tap remove everything.
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove things you have made. You can delete these yourself, at any time, and they are removed from our servers:
Practice recordings, practice sessions and AI feedback history cannot yet be deleted individually in the app — they are removed if you delete your account, or on request by email.
So for anything else — a specific practice recording, your profile photo, your AI feedback history, or any other data you would like removed while keeping your account — email privacy@voxstrum.app, tell us what you want deleted, and we will remove it within 30 days. You do not have to give a reason, and your account will stay open.
Safeguarding and moderation records may be retained after the rest of your data is deleted, where we have a legal obligation or a child-protection reason to keep them. Anonymised, aggregated statistics that cannot identify you may also be retained. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
If you signed up to the closed-test tester list, that entry is stored separately from your account and is kept for the duration of the closed test and up to 12 months afterwards. Deleting your account does not delete it — email privacy@voxstrum.app and we will remove it sooner. Tell us if you want both.
Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription. Billing is handled by Apple and Google, not by us. Cancel it in the Google Play Store → Subscriptions or App Store → Subscriptions first, or you may continue to be charged.
A parent or guardian can request deletion of their child's account and data at any time by emailing privacy@voxstrum.app. You do not need the child's password to make the request.
