1. Who we are

Voxstrum is a music learning application developed and operated by Voxstrum Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you use our app.

2. Data we collect

We collect the following information when you use Voxstrum:

• Account data — your name, email address and profile photo.
• Practice data — session duration, lesson progress and streak history.
• Device data — operating system, device model and app version, used for crash reporting only.
• Audio recordings — only if you use the recording feature. Stored in private cloud storage and not shared.
• Payment data — handled entirely by our payment provider (RevenueCat / Apple / Google). We never see your card details.

3. How we use your data

• To provide and personalise the Voxstrum service.
• To track your practice progress and maintain your streak.
• To send you notifications you have opted into.
• To diagnose crashes and improve app performance.
• To process subscription payments via our payment partners.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following third-party services strictly to operate Voxstrum:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication, database and file storage.
• RevenueCat — subscription management.
• Firebase Crashlytics — anonymous crash reports.

All third parties are contractually required to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.

5. Audio recordings

Any audio you record in Voxstrum is stored in a private, encrypted cloud storage bucket. It is never shared with third parties, never used to train AI models without your explicit consent, and deleted when you delete your account.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time from Profile → Delete account. We delete all associated data within 30 days of a deletion request.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR and applicable law you have the right to:

• Access a copy of your personal data.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Object to or restrict processing.
• Data portability.

8. Cookies and tracking

Voxstrum does not use advertising cookies or cross-app tracking. We use Firebase Analytics solely for aggregate, anonymous usage statistics to improve the app.

9. Children

Voxstrum is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us immediately at privacy@voxstrum.app.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or by email. Continued use of Voxstrum after changes constitutes acceptance.
